How Flocking Works

You can flock a friend for a donation of only $25 or more. Upon receipt of your request, Jordan will secretly place a flock of flamingos in the requested friend’s front yard. The flamingo flock and AIDS Walk Charlotte sign will remain in the yard for 24 hours. A notice will be attached explaining the removal policy and, if “the victim” wishes, how to have the flock “forwarded” to another supporter. Sorry, but the flock may not migrate onto public property or apartment complexes.

How Flamingos Are Removed
The flamingos will be removed from their “landing site” within 24 hours of placement. A donation of $25 or more can get the flamingos forwarded on to another friend. Forwarding requests can be made by filling out the Flocking Order Form that is left with the flock, or by filling out the contact form below. Please make checks payable to AIDS WALK Charlotte with the name Jordan Mitzel in the memo line. Attach your check to the Flocking Order Form and we will pick up both with the flamingos.

Flocking is done in good spirits and is not meant to be malicious. Also, to make this fundraiser successful, we must have willing participants. Flock removal does not require payment, however, if you’d like to make a donation to AIDS WALK Charlotte it would be greatly appreciated. The last flock will land Thursday, May 5th.
